The short version

  • Use photos, videos and voices that are yours, or that you have permission to use.
  • No sexual content, no nudity of real people, and nothing that puts minors at risk.
  • Don't use AI to fool, hurt or impersonate real people.
  • Breaking these rules can get content removed and accounts banned, without a credit refund.

These guidelines are part of our Terms of Use.

2Sexual content and nudity

Fine

  • Swimwear, gym and fashion looks in a normal, non-sexual context
  • Romantic but non-sexual scenes, such as a hug or holding hands, with consent of the people shown

Not allowed

  • Sexually explicit content of any kind
  • Nudity or "undressing" edits of real people
  • Sexualized edits of a real person, even if the result looks fake
  • Intimate images shared or made without consent
  • Content made to sexually humiliate someone

3Minors

We have zero tolerance for content that sexualizes or endangers children.

Fine

  • Wholesome family moments, such as birthdays, holidays or a parent and child dancing, made by a parent or guardian

Not allowed

  • Any sexual or suggestive content involving someone who is or looks under 18
  • Putting minors in violent, dangerous or humiliating situations
  • Content that bullies, shames or targets a minor
  • Using a child's photo without a parent or guardian's permission

Accounts that make sexual content involving minors are banned right away, and we may report them to the authorities.

4Violence and gore

Fine

  • Clearly fictional action, such as movie-style fights, superheroes or fantasy battles
  • Mild special effects like explosions in a cinematic scene

Not allowed

  • Realistic gore, injury, mutilation or death
  • Real people shown being hurt, attacked or killed
  • Threats, or content that praises or encourages violence
  • Content that glorifies terrorist or violent extremist groups

5Hate and harassment

Fine

  • Friendly jokes your friends are in on
  • Celebrating your culture, faith or identity

Not allowed

  • Attacking or demeaning people for their race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other protected trait
  • Hate symbols or slurs
  • Bullying, mocking or humiliating a real person
  • Content made to target, threaten or shame someone

6Impersonation and deepfakes

Klipzy can make very realistic videos of people. Use that power with care.

Fine

  • Recasting a video with yourself or with friends who agreed
  • Clearly fictional or obviously playful edits, such as putting yourself in a movie scene

Not allowed

  • Making a real person appear to say or do something they didn't, without their consent
  • Fake videos of public figures, politicians or celebrities that could be taken as real
  • Pretending to be someone else to trick people
  • Fake endorsements, such as a celebrity "recommending" a product

7Misinformation and scams

Fine

  • Satire that is clearly labeled or obviously not real
  • Creative "what if" videos that nobody would mistake for news

Not allowed

  • Fake news footage, or fake evidence of real events
  • Content meant to mislead people about elections, health or emergencies
  • Scams, fraud, phishing or fake giveaways
  • Fake ID photos, documents or verification selfies

9Illegal activity

Fine

  • Legal products and activities shown responsibly

Not allowed

  • Content that promotes or helps with illegal activity
  • Selling or promoting drugs, weapons or other regulated goods
  • Content that invades someone's privacy, such as sharing their address or private information
  • Anything else that breaks the law where you or the people shown live

10Self-harm and suicide

Fine

  • Content about recovery, support and getting help

Not allowed

  • Content that shows, promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide or eating disorders
  • Content that mocks people who are struggling

If you're struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a local crisis line. In the US, you can call or text 988. If you're in immediate danger, call your local emergency number.

12How to report

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, please tell us.

In the app

  1. Open the creation in your library.
  2. Tap the flag icon.
  3. Pick a reason, add any details, and send the report.

On klipzy.art, or for a shared link

Open a ticket under Account > Support on klipzy.art. Include the link (for example klipzy.art/v/...) and tell us what's wrong.

If it's about you

If someone made content of you without your permission, contact support with the link. Tell us it's you in the content, and we'll treat it as a priority.

13What happens when rules are broken

  • Removal. We may remove content that breaks these guidelines, including turning off its share link.
  • Warnings and limits. For a first or minor problem we may warn you or limit some features.
  • Bans. Serious or repeated violations lead to a ban. Sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery and threats lead to an immediate ban.
  • No credit refunds. Credits spent on content that breaks the rules are not refunded, and credits left on a banned account may be lost.
  • Authorities. We may report content involving the sexual exploitation of children, or threats to someone's safety, to the authorities.

Our AI providers also run their own safety filters, so some requests may be blocked before anything is made. Blocked or failed generations give their credits back automatically.

Appeals. If you think we got it wrong, you can appeal. Open the notice about it in the app's notifications and tap Appeal, or tap Appeal on the suspended account screen. Someone on our team will take another look, and you'll get a notification with the decision. If we agree with you, we undo it: your content comes back, the warning comes off, or the limit or ban is lifted. You can appeal each decision once. If you can't use the app, contact support.

14Changes

We may update these guidelines as Klipzy and the law change. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
